A Day in D.C.

It has been a very long time since my last tumble! As I mentioned on the twitter a few weeks ago, I took my humans to Washington D.C. so they could enjoy the Sakura Matsuri with me!

Here are some photos from that glorious day:

Hmmm… I wonder what has peaked my interest.

It was quite a long and uneventful drive, so I was very excited to arrive at our destination!

Ah, yes. Interesting. Very interesting.

Of course, we were not in Washington D.C. just to look at horse butts! We came to see the cherry blossoms and we were not disappointed…

Mm… This city smells wonderful!

We even stopped by the festival to learn about Japanese culture and enjoy their delicious snacks.

These are much bigger than my twitter photo made them look!

After the festival, I took my humans on a sight-seeing tour. There are so many important buildings and monuments in the city, it would be silly not to!

Here I am, far away from the Capitol building:

It looks small enough for me to eat!

The White House:

Hmm, yes… I think I would like to live here.

Just kidding!

The Washington Monument:

It looks like a huge stick!

The Reflecting Pool:

From one side, with a view of the WWII Memorial.

And the other side, Lincoln Memorial.

My humans tell me there is a giant human made out of white marble inside!

The water was so refreshing!

All the humans were enjoying themselves too!

After a fun frolic in the water, it was time for the long drive home…

I’m pooped!

Until next time, D.C!

*kiss kiss*

My humans are jealous because I get more screen time than they do… Here I am with my 3-legged-friend on an episode of Comedy Central’s “Broad City.” It’s my television debut!

How to Make a Pup-Cake

For my birthday, my humans made me a red velvet pup-cake with yogurt icing! Just in case all you were wondering how to bake your own set of cupcakes, my humans took some photographs of the process. It’s so easy, I could have done it myself.

These are all the ingredients you’ll need!

  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • And an additional 2 Tbsp water for the frosting!

  1. Put cake mix into bowl.
  2. Add egg.
  3. Add water.
  4. Put oil in spoon.
  5. Add oil to bowl.
  6. Whisk away!

  7. Pour batter into cups.
  8. Make sure they only fill about 3/4 of the cup.
  9. Bake for 18-22 minutes in the oven at 350°F
  10. After you take out the cupcakes, let them cool. During this time, pour icing mix into a bowl.
  11. Add 2 Tbsp of water and mix.
  12. Put icing on the cool cupcake immediately.
  13. Ta-da!

Your dog will love it. Trust me!

I am 1!

I had mentioned on my twitter that it was a very special day…and now you know why! Here are some photographs from my birthday celebration:

Look at that patience. I’m a professional!

My humans decided to bake me a red velvet pup-cake with yogurt icing! I had never eaten one of those before and although I was eager to try it, I waited so my humans had enough photographs to document the occasion.

I am quite dainty.

It was so delicious! I tried to not make too much of a mess. I am a lady pug, after all.

And just like that, it was gone… Happy birthday to me!
